In 2025, WildArk joined forces with NUII Ice Cream to support the Koala Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the world-renowned Currumbin Wildlife Hospital.
Currumbin Wildlife Hospital is one of the busiest wildlife hospitals in the world, admitting over 16,000 animals each year — including a large number of endangered Koalas. Alarmingly, 60% of Koala admissions are due to chlamydia, a bacterial infection that is one of the species’ biggest threats.
The hospital’s dedicated veterinary team is part of a world-first Koala Chlamydia Vaccine Research Program. To date, 450 Koalas have been vaccinated, resulting in 38 joeys and 6 grand-joeys born within the vaccinated population — a hopeful sign for the species’ future.

Through our partnership with NUII, WildArk has contributed over $300,000 to Koala conservation since 2020.
In 2024, we sponsored two essential diagnostic tools for the hospital:
In 2025, we expanded our support by funding critical ICU and rehabilitation equipment:
This specialised equipment enables Currumbin Wildlife Hospital to treat, rehabilitate, and release more Koalas back into the wild — giving this iconic Australian species a fighting chance.
By supporting this work, we’re not just helping individual animals — we’re strengthening the survival prospects of an entire species.

We are constantly searching the globe and challenging ourselves to discover new flavours. Every Nuii ice cream uses the smoothest creamiest dairy, encased in indulgent chocolate. We value substance over looks and the perfection of the imperfect, so all our ice creams are bursting with exciting textures and flavour.
