WildArk is excited to announce a new partnership with Spell, the iconic Byron Bay-based fashion label, to support the remarkable Female Indigenous Rangers Program with the Karrkad Kanjdji Trust (KKT) in Arnhem Land.
To celebrate the launch of Spell’s new outdoor range, Adventure Club, $5 from every piece sold during the first weeks of release will go directly towards empowering female Indigenous rangers to continue caring for Country — a role they have carried for tens of thousands of years.

Arnhem Land, in Australia’s Northern Territory, is one of the most culturally rich and biodiverse regions on Earth. For countless generations, Indigenous peoples have tended this land, their deep cultural knowledge shaping its landscapes and safeguarding its wildlife. Although they make up less than 5% of the world’s population, they protect around 80% of the planet’s biodiversity — a testament to the powerful connection between culture and conservation. In the latter half of the 20th century, disruptions to traditional land management saw native mammals decline and rainforest patches shrink, but the homelands movement began to reverse this, and today Indigenous rangers are once again at the forefront of restoring balance.

Among these rangers are women whose cultural knowledge, skills, and access to certain sacred areas make their role irreplaceable. The Strong Women for Healthy Country Network, supported by the KKT Trust, ensures these women have the tools, training, and resources they need to continue their work. From reducing wildfire risk, tracking feral animals, and clearing invasive weeds, to monitoring threatened species, these rangers are restoring ecosystems and keeping culture alive.

By choosing pieces from Spell’s Adventure Club collection, customers are helping strengthen this network of women — protecting some of Australia’s most important ecosystems and preserving knowledge passed down through generations.
“This partnership is a beautiful example of how fashion and conservation can come together to create lasting change. Every purchase supports the women who know this Country best — and who are working tirelessly to protect it for the future,” said General Manager of WildArk Kirstin Scholtz
